Revolver Die of Death

Die of Death Revolver guide: ranged poke, Loveshot combo with Taunt, and when Revolver wins mid-round Decks. Tips verified July 2026. Tips verified July 2026.

Infinite-range shot, reload timing, and Loveshot upgrade path.

Die of Death Revolver — ranged stun Ability

Die of Death Revolver is a civilian ranged stun Ability: you stop, fire a straight-line shot with infinite range, and on contact the projectile explodes for heavy damage and a ~2 second stun — then you enter a long reload window that roots you in place.

Players searching die of death revolver want damage numbers, reload timing, comparison to Punch, and how the gun upgrades into **Loveshot** with Taunt on the same Deck. Verified July 18, 2026 after Fashionably Late.

This guide also covers rescue lines for third-man peel, reload discipline, and when solo Revolver beats forcing Loveshot without aim confidence.

Revolver

Revolver shot and reload

Die of Death Revolver rewards prediction, not flick spam. The bullet travels in a straight line until it hits the Killer or terrain, then detonates. Community breakdowns cite roughly 50 damage and ~2 seconds of stun — enough to save a chased teammate at a choke.

Reload is the real cost: expect roughly 15 seconds before reload begins and another 15 seconds before you can fire again (verify HUD timers). That ~30 second cycle makes solo Revolver a commitment pick — whiffing leaves you helpless longer than Punch (40s CD but usable mid-chase).

Leading shots at chokes

Die of Death Revolver peaks when the Killer must path through a narrow gap chasing someone else. Wait for the vault animation, then shoot the gap — not the Killer's current position.

Against Killdroid, hold fire until bots commit — blind shots waste your only window before reload.

Revolver vs Punch

Punch offers 25 damage, 3s stun, 0.75s wind-up, 40s CD — C-tier but usable mid-chase. Revolver is safer at range but slower overall. Many tier lists rank Punch slightly above solo Revolver for panic saves; Loveshot flips that math.

Revolver and Loveshot (Taunt synergy)

When Revolver + Taunt share your Deck, Die of Death Revolver upgrades into **Loveshot — multi-shot pattern with ~7 HP heal pulses per confirmed hit (~21 HP** if all connect).

You lose a mobility slot to Taunt, but gain peel ragdolls that do not grant stun immunity — chain Taunt → Loveshot for team sustain.

When to force Loveshot Deck

Pick Revolver + Taunt when your squad lacks Caretaker but needs ranged peel — common vs Pursuer and Harken.

Skip if all three Decks offer Dash + Cloak on open Baseplate — you may die during reload without peel.

Solo Revolver without Taunt

When no row offers Taunt, Die of Death Revolver still works as A-tier rescue — you simply lack heal pulses. Pair with Caretaker or CarePad teammates instead of forcing bad mobility rows.

When to pick Revolver

Draft Die of Death Revolver when you can anchor chokes and accept reload endlag. The skill ceiling is high — one well-timed shot at a vault mouth saves a teammate and resets the chase; one panic shot in open field leaves you rooted for half a minute while Pursuer closes.

New players should practice leading shots in Default lobbies before Evil Scary — reload punishment is harsher when Killers are experienced. Link controls to confirm ability HUD slot binds on PC and mobile.

  • Do01Shoot chokes, not open sprint paths
  • Do02Hide during full reload cycle
  • Do03Call stun timing so teammates vault
  • Do04Pair with Taunt for Loveshot when offered
  • Do05Check abilities tier list after patches

Draft Revolver when…

Your team has peel (Taunt, Block) but lacks range.

Lobby map is Temple, The HQ, or choke-heavy Grandma's Backyard.

You rolled Revolver + Taunt — take **Loveshot** unless mobility is mandatory.

Skip Revolver when…

Killer is Killdroid on open maps — you reload in sightlines.

You cannot aim under pressure — Dash carries harder in low-skill lobbies.

Team already has two ranged stuns — spread roles (CarePad, traps).

Revolver vs Killers and maps

Die of Death Revolver punishes melee Killers who hug survivors; it struggles vs zoning without cover. Infinite range means you can anchor The HQ upper floors while a teammate loops below — but reload still roots you in place if the Killer swaps up.

Team rescue lines

Third-man Die of Death Revolver saves win rounds: hold fire until the Killer commits to a vault, then shoot the gap. Call "Revolver ready" so the chased player does not Dash out of your line.

After stun, the Killer gains immunity — coordinate so only one ranged stun fires per chase wave. Pair with Taunt ragdolls when immunity is down.

Gunslinger and Evil Scary

Gunslinger lobbies skew ranged — Revolver feels natural but reload still punishes open duels. **Evil Scary** uses the same kits; respect intensity settings from controls while lining shots.
